About Charlotte

I began learning my craft at The Women’s Press, back in 1994, where I worked my way up to commissioning editor. I was most recently inhouse as editorial director at Ebury Press, where I commissioned and edited over twenty Sunday Times bestsellers – from the memoir Nurse on Call, which spent five weeks at number one, to books by national treasures such as Pam Ayres, Sue Johnston, Gok Wan and Lynda Bellingham (Lost and Found).

Now based in Cumbria, I enjoy the variety of freelance life. Whether fiction or fact, website or book, I love working with stories that tell us about our lives and our world.
